BOSTON 鈥 Early college programs at UMass Boston, UMass Dartmouth, and UMass Lowell received state designation approval today, expanding opportunities for more high school students to earn college credits at no cost and start on a path to an affordable UMass degree before they graduate high school.
Early college exposes students to college-level work and provides academic supports designed to encourage more economically disadvantaged, underrepresented, and first-generation students to enroll in higher education.
BOSTON 鈥 The 麻豆视频鈥 strong bond ratings and stable outlook were recently affirmed by Moody鈥檚, S&P Global Ratings, and Fitch Ratings, highlighting the university鈥檚 financial strength at a time when the same ratings agencies have downgraded outlooks on the higher education sector.
UMass was rated Aa2 by Moody鈥檚, AA by Fitch Ratings, and AA- by S&P, with all three agencies assigning the university a 鈥渟table鈥 outlook and citing the university鈥檚 excellent fiscal management and operating performance as factors in the reports.
